Describe your personal interest and hobbies.

Although Florida is not the ideal location for my favorite hobby, downhill skiing, it does more opportunities for me to enjoy my other interests, boating and swimming.  Through my immigrant parents, I have U.S. and Swiss dual citizenship, which sparked my love for travel.

Describe your charitable activities.

I have a strong commitment to the community in which I live and have actively supported the arts.  The Lighthouse ArtCenter and School is such a gem for the area. I have been fortunate to be involved with the Art Center for many years, most recently as the president of the board. The museum and school provide the community a wonderful outlet for their artistic side.

Summary of Firm

Attorney Colette K. Meyer founded her firm in 1998 on the principle of seeing beyond a set of legal documents into the real needs of a person or family trying to plan for the future.   The Meyer Law Firm team begins by understanding a client’s financial as well as personal goals and wishes, and then designs an estate plan that is individualized.  We understand that estate planning is not an easy topic to discuss and we guide clients through the legal questions that arise with the compassion and personal attention that they deserve.
