Why did you become an attorney?

I have always believed that if you work hard at something you are passionate about you can achieve great things. As the youngest of eight children, my humble beginnings crated a desire to be the voice for workplace injustice and inequalities. As such, I chose a career in law. I was drawn to the practice area of labor and employment law, where I have advanced my firm’s mission to further workers’ rights both by representing employees and by assisting employers in creating progressive and compliant work place policies. My clients are the reason I work as hard as I do and my "firm family" is the reason I have a smile on my face when I come to the office.

What experiences (work and personal) help you to be a better attorney?

My background in hospitality being a waitress, bartender and later on a manager has fostered a keen since of customer service and a client oriented approach to the practice of law.

What makes your law firm unique?

We are a closely-knit group of women attorneys.
