Why did you become an attorney?

I became an attorney as a way to assist people through the legal process.  There is a lot of information on the internet.  While I encourage you to get as much information as possible, the information on the internet does not directly address your situation.  I can assist you in navigating through the process.

What experiences (work and personal) help you to be a better attorney?

When I graduated law school, I was fortunate in obtaining a position as a law clerk to a bankruptcy judge.  This experience helped make me a better attorney by looking at a case objectively, with a view on how a judge might resolve the dispute.  I use this experience in assessing my clients needs and objectives to give them an informed opinion of their situation.

What made you choose your primary specialty focus of law?

In law school, I was quickly attracted to the practice of bankruptcy.  It is a mix of litigation and working with clients. Bankruptcy is a complex area that can be a minefield if an attorney is not well versed in the law.

What makes your law firm unique?

I am a sole practitioner. I do not charge a fee for our first meeting to discuss whether I can be of assistance to the potential client.  Once they become a client, I am personally involved with their case.  I am available by e-mail and phone almost every day and respond to my clients as quickly as I can.

Describe your ideal client.

Anyone that has some sort of financial distress is an ideal client.  If you have some sort of financial distress, call me, and we will see if there is some way that I can help you.

Describe your personal interest and hobbies.

When I am not practicing law, I am a professional bowler.  I am also involved in my church and spend a lot of time with my dog.

Describe your charitable activities.

I was born and raised in Palm Beach County.  After working as a law clerk in Tallahassee, I returned to Palm Beach County and settled in Boca Raton with my family.  Over the last 21 years, I have been involved in my church, serving as a religious instructor, lector and minister.  In my younger days, I raised money and ran martahons for the Leukemia & Lymphona Society.  While my boys were growing and involved in baseball, I was on the board of West Boca Youth Baseball, serving as President for three years.  I remain involved in other charitable events.
